Estelle Sandhaus, Ph.D.

Dr. Estelle Sandhaus was accepted into the School of Psychology Ph.D. program – Cognition and Brain Science by Emeritus faculty member Dr. Terry L. Maple. She later graduated from the School of Psychology Ph.D. program in 2013. Dr. Sandhaus is currently the Director of Conservation & Science at the Santa Barbara Zoo in Santa Barbara, California.

“At the Center for Conservation and Behavior in the School of Psychology at Georgia Tech, in addition to immersion in a rigorous interdisciplinary academic program, I had the opportunity to work with key partners in applied research and conservation such as Zoo Atlanta and the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding.
