Quantitative Psychology research at Georgia Tech features both basic and applied research, addressing the interface between quantitative methods and psychological issues. Current faculty interests include psychometric methods, spatial and quantitative reasoning, item response theory, structural equation modeling, multivariate statistics, factor analysis, and multilevel modeling, as well as many other topics in psychological methods and statistics.

There is a brown bag series that meets several times each semester in which both students and faculty make informal presentations. Often faculty from other universities make presentations.
