Julie Ancis, adjunct professor in the School of Psychology and associate vice president for Institute Diversity, has co-edited a new book that examines mental health issues for women in the legal system. The book, Gender, Psychology, and Justice: The Mental Health of Women and Girls in the Legal System, examines how gender mixes with race, class, and sexual orientation to impact treatment within the criminal justice system.
