PSY-COGS (Psychology Committee of Graduate Students) was created last year with the goal to make positive change for the School of Psychology graduate students.Together, this group focuses on creating social events and attempts to better foster a sense of community here in the School of Psychology. They look forward to continuing their efforts this year, building and extending previous efforts, to better the graduate student experience.

Lauren Margulieux and Dar-Wei Chen Present "The Psychology of Card Magic"
Last year, School of Psychology Graduate Students Lauren Margulieux and Dar-Wei Chen presented the "Psychology of Card Magic"at an Atlanta Science Tavern event. During the presentation, Lauren explained some of the basic psychology principles used by magicians while Dar-Wei performed card tricks implementing those principles. Engineering Psychology Advisory Committee Hosts First Goodies for Grads Event
On October 21, 2015, the Engineering Psychology Advisory Committee (EPAC) hosted the first Goodies for Grads event. Graduate students from all areas of psychology came out to relax and meet other graduate students, while enjoying some Highland Bakery and homemade treats and refreshing themselves with some coffee and tea.
