My primary research focus is individual differences in working memory capacity and controlled attention, particularly in the visual domain. Specifically, I am interested in how individual differences in working memory capacity relates to one's ability to allocate attention in the visual field. In a related project, I am investigating the correlation between working memory capacity and event-related potentials (ERP) to visual stimuli. I have also just completed a study investigating working memory capacity and mental effort.
