My current research interests are directed towards individual differences in working memory and attention and examining the relationship between working memory and personality. My academic background comprises sound engineering, psychoacoustics, and psychology. Past research projects I was involved in include areas related to speech perception in how we perceive and produce speech, differentiate and ascribe a meaning to the auditory signal and map it into the rules of a particular language; music and auditory perception of basic sound dimensions, such as pitch, loudness and timbre; and auditory memory in how we perceive, describe, and retrieve different sounds and sound patterns.

Other interests and activities include music illustration and composition, sound production (recording, mixing, editing), and eurhythmics (music education introducing body expression, rhythmic patterns and improvisation in learning and perception of music).
