Marita OBrien
Research Interests
I am working on the following projects in the lab:
- Reviewing the construct of “intuitive interaction” to identify the critical components of this construct;
- Examining intuitive human-computer interactions to understand elements of the technology, the product, and the user that may elicit intuitive usage;
- Evaluating typical age-related differences in human-computer interactions to propose methods for predicting likely effects on intuitive technology usage;
- Investigating the characteristics of technology that is likely to be adopted and the user characteristics of likely adopters.
