The Cognitive Measurement Lab works out of the Georgia Institute of Technology's Psychology Department in Atlanta Georgia. We are located in Coon Building Room 138.The lab is directed by Dr. Susan Embretson with the primary intent of developing aptitude item models. Based on Item Response Theory Principles, research experiments test cognitive component models for accurate prediction of item characteristics. These models will enable computer generated items without extensive pretesting. Current test types under review include SLAT and quantitative reasoning items. For more information, please email us at gtg718z@mail.gatech.edu |
